Girls' Day member Sojin shared how her thoughts on marriage changed after getting married.
On the 8th, a video titled "Yura picks the perfect marriage partner for Yura" was uploaded to the "YuraYuraHaek" channel.
The video portrayed Girls' Day member Sojin meeting Yura. The two sat together on a bed and exchanged various stories.
In the midst of that, Yura asked, "If you could go back one week, when would you choose?" and Sojin replied, "When I got married. The week of the wedding. That time was so happy," she said.
Yura asked, "Including the wedding day?" and Sojin said, "Yes. I'm still so happy, but that feeling seems unique to that time. I think it would be wonderful even if I experienced it again," recalling, "It felt like being celebrated for being born. The feeling of being overwhelmingly blessed, loved and supported by so many people — wondering, 'Can I be celebrated like this? Can I be loved like this? Can I be supported like this?' — was extremely intense," as she recalled the happiness she felt at the time.
To this, Yura said, "We all sobbed so much. It was a wedding venue," and Sojin said, "Everyone except you all were happy. Only you shed tears of sadness," describing the Girls' Day members' reactions at the wedding.
Yura choked up, saying, "Strangely, it never happened elsewhere, but at your wedding...," and when asked, "Do you still feel a little choked up now?" she said, "When I think about that wedding, I cry so much. Remember the LP song at the beginning? We still listen to the entrance song we picked. I love it so much. When that song came on and you made your entrance, it was so sad. The feeling was so strange," expressing her emotion.
By contrast, Sojin said, "I'm just so happy — you were there, family was there, my brother was there." Yura asked, "Do you strongly, strongly recommend marriage?" and Sojin confessed, "I was originally someone who didn't plan to get married. I hated the idea of marriage. And I was scared of marriage," yet she added, "The marriage I've experienced so far is very, very good."
She said, "And who you meet is very important. If you're stable, I think it's fine whenever you get married, and I think there are lessons to be learned within that. The depth of the relationship itself is different," pointing out the benefits of marriage.
She continued, "But after getting married, I realized the time I spent with you felt a bit like marriage," and said, "Living with someone who used to live separately forever, constantly being together and rubbing against each other. Of course we are like family. We like each other so much. Because we love each other like you love a husband, no matter what happens to you or what difficulties you have, I'm always willing to pull you out. Having experienced that once was helpful," conveying the close bonds with the Girls' Day members.
Yura said, "Then since I'm living with a friend now, don't you have tremendous experience already?" in anticipation, and Sojin offered, "Yes. And because you are someone who, when living with others, tries not to make them uncomfortable, I think you'll do well in marriage too — if you meet the right partner," offering a kind remark.
