tvN Fresh off the Sea in Kalape is continuing a ratings surge with the addition of guest Lee Si-eon.
In episode 4, which aired at 8:40 p.m. on the 7th, viewers were captivated by everything from a coconut-harvesting mission set in the Philippine wilderness to Lee Si-eon's hidden-camera gag and thrilling jungle activities. Riding that momentum, it proved the unique strength of Fresh off the Sea once again by ranking first across all channels in the 20-49 target ratings in the same time slot for four consecutive weeks.
The highlight of the episode was Lee Si-eon's appearance, perfectly disguised as a camera operator. Working with the production team, Lee Si-eon put on an over-the-top performance pretending to be knocked down by a coconut, and the scene was left in chaos. In particular, Dex, failing to recognize Lee Si-eon before him at all, genuinely expressed concern and displayed a pure sincerity that provoked laughter.
