MC Gree, who appeared on 구해줘! 홈즈, revealed how his situation changed after being discharged from the Marine Corps and even disclosed the secrets to owning a home in his 20s.

MC Gree, who recently was discharged from the Marine Corps, began by sharing anecdotes from his military life. He said "In the Marine Corps, you use honorifics for seniors regardless of age," and "When I was a private first class, a senior of my cohort bought me a meal, and it turned out he was eight years younger than me. Still, I was grateful he bought me a meal because I had a hard time," he said.
He went on to reveal his preferred living style, saying "I like quiet, secluded but Seoul places," and in response Kim Dae-ho recommended Hongje where he lives. But when Kim Sook said at Kim Dae-ho's house "There's a rumor a ghost appears," MC Gree shot back "I'm a Marine who catches ghosts," bringing laughter.
Notably, MC Gree said he owned a home at age 29, drawing attention. He explained "about 50% was a loan," and Kim Dae-ho admitted "I probably have more debt. I have an 80% full loan." MC Gree wittily responded, "I took the loan,"
Above all, MC Gree surprised everyone by saying he saved 20 million won during his military service. He explained "I consistently saved for one year and six months." When Kim Dae-ho said "My private second class salary was 30,000 won, and as a corporal it was 40,000 won," Jang Dong-min chimed in "I received 8,000 won." MC Gree explained "Nowadays a corporal's salary is about 2 million won. It's almost 100 times higher," and Kim Dae-ho said "The world really has changed a lot," expressing envy.
That day's broadcast also revealed a scene in which MC Gree visited his father, Kim Gu Ra, to talk about real estate. Kim Gu Ra explained the difference between reconstruction and redevelopment and said "Wangsimni has gone up a lot. It's now close to 2 billion won."
When MC Gree asked "Dad, why didn't you buy a house in Gangnam?" Kim Gu Ra answered "I'm decent with stocks. I know a bit about stocks," and MC Gree also showed surprise at his father's investment sense, eliciting laughter.
