Ko Woo-Rim of Forestella and Jo Min-kyu conveyed Yuna Kim's "girl crush" side.
On the 7th, a video titled "The opera-idol's crazy variety sense [I'll give you a meal~Street with Min-kyu & Wo-rim]" was uploaded to the "Junho Jimin" channel.
In the video, Kim Jun-Ho asked curiously, "How is your wife saved in your phone?" Ko Woo-Rim revealed, "I set one emoji for my wife. I set a cherry blossom emoji."
Kim Ji-min said, "So when the phone rings only the cherry blossom pops up," and Kim Jun-Ho exclaimed, "That's a new method." Then Jo Min-kyu said, "Both are so sweet, but Karrot really sometimes goes to pick her up when a schedule is over. He drives and it's total girl crush mode," which drew attention.
He said, "When we go to the provinces and get off the KTX, Karrot comes to pick us up together. When getting into that car you think, 'Oh my, how honored.' If someone beside the car drives badly, 'What are you doing! Do you know who's in here?!'" which he said to much laughter.
Hearing this, Kim Jun-Ho asked about Yuna Kim's nickname, "But why Karrot?" and Ko Woo-Rim explained the background, "When I was dating, the members all knew. They knew I was dating. But when we went to a cafe or out to eat and the name would be mentioned like, 'Where's Yuna?' 'What is Yuna doing?' wouldn't that be a bit awkward?"
To this, Jo Min-kyu added, "No one will believe it," which provoked laughter. Ko Woo-Rim said, "Someone might hear and say, 'Yuna?' so we needed a code name among ourselves. 'What should we call her?' we talked,"
Jo Min-kyu said, "I just said, 'Just call her Karrot.' Nothing comes to mind otherwise," and Ko Woo-Rim conveyed, "So I said, 'Oh Karrot? That's fine.' From then on we started calling her Karrot."
Meanwhile, Ko Woo-Rim and figure skating national team alumnus Yuna Kim married on Oct. 2022.
