On the 7th (Thursday) at 9:50 p.m., episode 7 of the KBS2TV miniseries Cabbage Your Life (directed by Choi Yeon-su / written by Song Jeong-rim, Wang Hye-ji / produced by Sim Story) aired, depicting Sung Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) stunned by the cabbage seedling inspection results, which all came back "unsuitable" after Director Choi (played by Min Seong-wook) visited Yeonriri.
Sung Tae-hoon, unable to believe the results, decided to test the cabbages himself to uncover the hidden intentions of the company he had worked for his whole life, Matstory. Conducting a reinspection with the cabbages of village head Im Ju-hyeong (played by Lee Seo-Hwan), Sung Tae-hoon began to suspect the existence of Matstory caretaker No Hyun-gap (played by Jeong Seon-cheol). Meanwhile, Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung) was relieved to learn that her son Sung Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jinwoo) had not definitively withdrawn from medical school and that there was still a chance to reverse it. She believed the environment of "Yeonriri" was the cause of his wandering and tried to persuade Sung Ji-cheon to go to Seoul. But Sung Ji-cheon, who had lived his whole life doing what his parents told him, delivered a heartfelt letter that brought sadness. Worried about Sung Ji-cheon who went to the capital alone, Jo Mi-ryeo wanted to follow him, but Sung Tae-hoon said, "Ji-cheon will make a good choice. Let's trust and wait. Meanwhile, Im Bo-mi (played by Choi Gyu-ri) tried to understand Sung Ji-cheon's feelings as his messages grew sparse, but she also expressed hurt at his distancing attitude. Later, through Nam Hye-seon (played by Nam Kwon-ah), Im Bo-mi learned that Sung Ji-cheon was going to Seoul and could not hide her bitterness, and as Sung Ji-cheon headed to school, the apparently crossed paths between the two raised further curiosity about their relationship.
At the end of the broadcast, the scene of Sung Tae-hoon visiting Executive Director Bae's (played by Bae Ki-beom) office heightened tension. After receiving a significant offer from Executive Director Bae, Sung Tae-hoon asked, "Can you personally prove that this is a way to save the village and also save my family?"
