"global pop icon" BTS is set to reclaim the heart of American entertainment, Las Vegas, once again. It marks the return of "The City" project that transforms the entire city into one vast festival beyond a simple stage performance.
BTS posted detailed notice of "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - LAS VEGAS" (hereafter "The City Las Vegas") on the official fan community Weverse on the morning of the 8th, capturing the attention of ARMYs around the world.
This project will be held in connection with "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN LAS VEGAS," which takes place in Las Vegas from the 20th to the 31st. Las Vegas is especially meaningful as the "promised land" where "The City" project first began in 2022.
The model, which fills the host city with the artist's music and message to provide fans with a three-dimensional experience, began in Las Vegas and expanded worldwide. In 2026, a more evolved BTS will present "The City" again at the pinnacle of the U.S. cultural industry, promising unprecedented scale and splendor.
"The City Las Vegas" boasts a different charm from "The City Seoul," which took place in March and April. While Seoul focused on a harmony of tradition and modernity, Las Vegas' weapon is a dazzling scale that leverages overwhelming infrastructure.
On the night of the first performance, the 23rd, the Strip, the symbol of Las Vegas, will be bathed in red lighting, the key color of the new song "Arirang." Large electronic billboards will be embroidered with messages welcoming BTS. That same night, a spectacular fireworks display will unfold above the MGM Grand hotel sky, heralding the opening of the festival.
From the 21st to the 28th, "The Forum Shops" inside Caesars Palace will host "BTS POP-UP: ARIRANG" to welcome fans. In addition, monorail wrapping, programs linked to major landmarks, exhibitions, and after parties that will continue the night's heat will provide nonstop enjoyment.
With the entire city transformed into BTS' theme park, "The City Las Vegas" is expected to become a global entertainment festival with value beyond a performance.
