LE SSERAFIM at 12:00 a.m. on the 8th posted "Just BOOMPALA," the title track teaser video for the second full-length album "'PUREFLOW' pt.1," on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel.
The released video begins with a conversation between members Kim Chaewon and Heo Yunjin. The two, who retained the distinctive green skin and pointed hands showcased in the lead single "CELEBRATION" music video released last month, overwhelm viewers with their surreal visuals.
When Heo Yunjin lamented, "I have too many thoughts. Do you know how to stop thinking?", Kim Chaewon responded nonchalantly, "Stop," and suggested they dance together.
In the following scene, part of the new song "BOOMPALA" plays, raising expectations. The repeatedly chanted "Boompala" section, like a spell, hints at strong addictiveness even in its brief reveal and lodges itself deeply in listeners' minds.
The lyrics are also striking. The line "You can't hold on to the clouds in the air" echoes Heo Yunjin's worries and conveys a will to let uncontrollable thoughts and emotions flow away naturally. The performance is also intuitive. The five members offer a lively movement of swinging their arms and legs left and right to the rhythm, providing a pleasure that anyone can easily follow.
The second full-length album "'PUREFLOW' pt.1," which is set to be released at 1 p.m. on the 22nd, is an album that captures the inner changes and growth LE SSERAFIM experienced as they faced fears after shouting "FEARLESS" at debut.
