On the 8th episode of KBS2 Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, the daily life of Choo Sung Hoon's wife and Choo Sa-rang's mother, top Japanese model Yano Shiho, is portrayed.
Yano Shiho, marking Japan's "Couples' Day" on the day of filming, prepares a special restorative dish for Choo Sung Hoon. While attempting chueotang, a dish even Koreans find difficult to make, Yano Shiho receives her mother-in-law's recipe and ignites her determination to try.
April is special for Choo Sung Hoon and Yano Shiho. Choo Sung Hoon's father died suddenly of a heart attack in April 2023. Yano Shiho said, "He died suddenly. When we got the call and rushed there, he was already gone."
Yano Shiho said, "Sa-rang cried as if she was collapsing. The trauma lasted for about two years," and added, "After her father died, a major turning point came in my husband's life. He changed in every way," provoking curiosity.
