"Global pop icon" BTS made an irreplaceable showing by dominating the charts as soon as they made their comeback.
According to the April monthly chart results released by the global K-pop chart KM Chart, BTS swept the music and artist categories, and member V also rose to the top of the popularity category.
In the K-MUSIC (songs) category, BTS's new song "SWIM" rose to No. 1. Following a comeback that shook the global music market, they even took over the KM Chart, showing unmatched influence.
They also took first place in the K-MUSIC ARTIST category. After winning in songs, they grabbed the artist category as well, claiming the distinction of being a two-time winner.
In the HOT CHOICE (popularity) male category, member V proudly took first place. Holding the top spot in both group and solo activities, he demonstrated the powerful fandom strength of BTS.
Following them, strong teams such as TOMORROW X TOGETHER, PLAVE, AKMU and IVE entered the top ranks, engaging in fierce rank competition.
The activities of female artists and the rise of newcomers also drew attention.
In the HOT CHOICE female category, Dreamcatcher once again defended the No. 1 position. Backed by a solid fandom, they long ruled the top of the charts, showing why they are a global trend. They were followed in the top 10 by ITZY's Yuna, EXSIN and Odd Youth.
In the ROOKIE (new artist) male category, ALPHA DRIVE ONE took the top spot, while in the female category HADES rose to No. 1, each showing potential as next-generation K-pop leaders.
Meanwhile, the KMA (KM Chart Awards) 2026, hosted by KM Chart, will be held on July 25 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul.
