Rapper Swings revealed an episode that happened after he lost a corporate card.
On the 7th, the YouTube channel Lee Eunji posted a video titled "The story of Swings being extorted of 50 million won by a woman he didn't know (feat. Lee Eunji, Mimi, Kim Dae-ho) | [Mudaepo ep.01]."
That day, guest grants Swings was asked how much he spends on his partner. In response, Swings said "I just tend to spend it for fun" and disclosed an anecdote.
He recalled, "The staff who manages the money said there was a problem. So they said someone used the corporate card for 50 million won over six months."
He added, "They said because the payments kept appearing at hair salons and shops, they thought our singers had paid. Somehow they ended up calling the hair salon. They asked for that person's personal information, which usually wouldn't be allowed, but that person was kind and just gave the phone number and name, saying it seemed like someone had stolen your precious money."
When the manager called, a woman in her mid-to-late 20s answered. Swings said, "Is it true you spent 50 million won over six months?" She stammered, then said, "But Swings oppa told me to use it." When my manager asked her to explain again, she said she had been at a bar and ended up sitting with Swings. She said that the man gave her the card and told her, 'From now on, spend my money.'"
He continued, "When I thought about it, I had lost a card six months earlier and hadn't gotten a replacement. There were two cards for the same account, same company — the corporate cards. I lost one and left the other, so I didn't pay attention. But someone must have found it. It said Indigo Music corporation on it, so they knew it was Swings' company and, without any hesitation, to put it bluntly, they just used it."
Swings, who said he eventually got the money back, said, "If you look at the statements, the amounts kept growing later. So what we did was have that person pay all the money back. It took about three years; they paid a certain amount each month and then it ended."
