Singer and actor Park Jihoon, who hit it big with the film The King's Warden, is set to become a full-fledged kitchen soldier.
On the 7th, TVING's new original The Legend of Kitchen Soldier (writer Choi Ryong, director Jo Nam-hyung) released a Highlight video containing the story of kitchen soldier Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Jihoon).
The video began with the ominous cawing of a crow. It then shows the clumsy Kang Seong-jae's adaptation to being a kitchen soldier. Yoon Dong-hyun (played by Lee Hongnae) he receives a mission to organize the storage and together they take time to secure fresh eggs from the chicken coop. With the extraordinary appearances of battalion commander Baek Chun-ik (played by Jung Woong In) and regiment commander Bae Won-young (played by Ahn Gil-Gang), it hints at Kang Seong-jae's spectacular growth.
Meanwhile, the changes in Kang Seong-jae as he gradually takes on the bearing of a kitchen soldier despite trials and tribulations are also captured, bringing smiles. Although the role was assigned to him by chance, he soon shows a strong desire to remain a kitchen soldier. In particular, his bright smile as he says, "It's hard, but it's fun!" raises expectations for his story moving from a rookie kitchen soldier to a legendary one.
The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, which will premiere on the 11th at 8:50 p.m., is a military cookery fantasy drama that depicts private first class Kang Seong-jae—who wears a chef's knife instead of a rifle and an apron instead of an ammo belt—becoming a "legendary kitchen soldier."
