Today (7) at 9:50 p.m., KBS 2TV miniseries Cabbage Your Life (directed by Choi Yeon-su, written by Song Jeong-rim, Wang Hye-ji) episode 7 depicts Jo Mi-ryeo (Lee Soo-kyung) and Seong Ji-cheon (Lee Jinwoo) of the Seong household encountering village residents amid a tense atmosphere.
Earlier, Jo Mi-ryeo, who had taken great pride in the fact that her eldest son was a medical student, saw Seong Ji-cheon working part time in the school cafeteria and was thrown into confusion. After hearing that Seong Ji-cheon had dropped out of medical school, she collapsed from shock, and viewers focused on which direction the widening mother-son conflict would take.
In this episode, Jo Mi-ryeo visits Nam Hye-seon (Nam Kwon-ah)ʼs hair salon with Seong Ji-cheon. While Seong Ji-cheon cannot hide his embarrassment at his motherʼs sudden action, Jo Mi-ryeo forces a bright smile as she boasts about her son in front of Nam Hye-seon and Lee Seon-ja (Lee Seon-hee). Meanwhile, Seong Ji-cheon gives Jo Mi-ryeo a heartfelt letter. As Jo Mi-ryeoʼs expression while reading it is significant, attention is focused on what change this letter will bring to the twoʼs relationship.
