Director Roy Oh, who directed the opening AI section film at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) and produced video content for the 2025 APEC leaders' meeting, is a creator attracting attention on the global stage. About this project, he said, "We live in an era where anything can be made with AI, but Eva Almerson's work contained emotions that had to move," and explained his directorial intent: "It started from the question of 'how to make a painting with emotion move,' not a mere technical experiment."
The video begins with the protagonist Rina watering a pot where a flower has not yet bloomed and, by the closing, captures the visual change of the flower blooming fully, dramatically showing the character's growth. In particular, the graceful scene transition from a field to the sea completed a rich narrative while maintaining Eva Almerson's distinctive warm color palette and character depiction.
Director Roy Oh said, "The most important thing was to connect emotions, not scenes," and explained, "I arranged it so viewers would naturally enter Rina's story."
This music video will be released together with the theme song "Flower in You," which features a lyrical melody and emotional vocals.
"Rina, Superhero" depicts a fantasy in which Rina, a girl who loves flowers, fights a garbage monster. The production team asked for expectations, saying, "This music video will be the starting point where audiences first encounter Rina's world."
