Girls' Generation Hyoyeon met BABYMONSTER.
On the 6th, a video titled "Is this YG's style these days? 5th-generation girl groups are definitely different / Fake Kim Hyoyeon EP.19 1 vs. 100 (BABYMONSTER)" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Hyoyeon's Level Up'.
That day Hyoyeon met BABYMONSTER and performed a situational skit with a competitive concept. Hyoyeon warmed up by imitating G-Dragon and CL before BABYMONSTER entered the waiting room, drawing laughs.
A little later, Hyoyeon was taken aback when she saw BABYMONSTER. She had dressed in homage to the hip-hop vibe of YG artists, but BABYMONSTER had come dressed in a lovely style. Hyoyeon expressed her bewilderment, saying, "Do you usually dress like this?"
Afterward, Hyoyeon imitated BABYMONSTER's gesture practice and vocal techniques, delivering big laughs. Internet users reacted with comments such as "Hyoyeon should prepare for a comedian exam," and "Ahhyun does purururu, but Hyoyeon is channeling something lol."
Meanwhile, through her channel Hyoyeon announced she would form a unit called Hyolisu with Girls' Generation members Yuri and Sooyoung, raising expectations. During a concept meeting Yuri confidently said, "We need to break away from SM," and "If we had gone to YG, TaeTiSeo (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun) would have lost."
