The group TREASURE revealed the first teaser for their fourth mini album 'NEW WAV' and officially announced their comeback.
YG Entertainment released the trailer for TREASURE's fourth mini album 'NEW WAV', which will be released on June 1, on its official blog on the 7th.
The newly released trailer showed TREASURE members repeatedly practicing choreography and recording. The members' daily routines of devoting themselves to work to raise the completeness of the new release and comments such as "YG's roots are hip-hop" and "there really are no limits" followed, heightening anticipation for the comeback.
YG Entertainment said of the new release 'NEW WAV', "We expressed TREASURE's various sides through the hip-hop genre," adding, "You can see a clearer musical world, and it is a new chapter that will approach with a bolder and more intense charm."
Executive producer Yang Hyun-suk called TREASURE's new release "personally the most satisfying result" and asked for anticipation.
TREASURE's fourth mini album 'NEW WAV' is a word meaning a new flow, using the lossless audio format 'WAV' as a double entendre to signal the intention to open act two with TREASURE's unprocessed original colors. This album contains four hip-hop-based tracks.
TREASURE's 'NEW WAV' will be released on June 1.
