ADOR officially celebrated the birthday of NewJeans member Min-ji. It is interpreted as a sign that Min-ji's return is imminent, following Haerin, Hye-in and Hanni.
On the 7th, NewJeans' official channel posted multiple photos with the caption "HAPPY MINJI DAY."
The released photos showed cookie-making scenes. They captured everything from basic tasks handling flour to shaping and packaging the cookies. A variety of cookie shapes, from hearts and stars to the rabbit (Bunnies) symbol of the NewJeans fandom, were deliciously completed.
Earlier, Min-ji reportedly visited a birthday cafe prepared by fans in person and left a handwritten letter and cookie gifts. Min-ji baked 500 cookies to give to fans and left a handwritten letter and photos. These were revealed through various online communities and social media and became a hot topic.
In the letter, Min-ji said, "It's really been a long time. Have you been well? I thought about Bunnies a lot. I heard many places will celebrate my birthday this year. I wanted to give something back, so this time I prepared cookies I made myself," and added, "A lot has happened and there are many things I want to say… I hope today is a happy day. And in the future too! Let's be together. Thank you always, Bunnies."
Later, on Min-ji's birthday today (the 7th), congratulations and photos were also posted on NewJeans' official channel, fueling speculation that Min-ji's return to NewJeans may be imminent.
Earlier, NewJeans' Haerin, Hye-in and Hanni returned to ADOR, and Haerin and Hye-in were recently spotted with staff in Copenhagen, Denmark, drawing attention.
