On the 6th broadcast of tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'), the 'Hyori-su' members appeared. The fake documentary that started on Hyoyeon's personal YouTube channel with a desire for vocal challenges and a desire for another Girls' Generation unit became hot, driving the formation of 'Hyori-su,' and with numerous comment participations, it led to a nationwide vocal selection.
Sooyoung said, "Originally we had a unit called 'SHY' that appeared during concerts," saying 'Hyori-su' was not entirely new.
