On the May 6 episode of SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama Sold Out Again Today (directed by Ahn Jong-yeon, written by Jin Seung-hee), in episode 5 Jo U-ri, as Moon Ae-ra, owner of the Moon Cafe in Deokpung Village, showed a character who appears cold but is deep-hearted.
Moon Ae-ra rode up on a scooter upon hearing the news that a coffee truck had arrived in Deokpung Village. Without hesitation she took the very front spot in line, quieting even the surrounding murmurs with a single look and displaying the presence of someone influential in Deokpung Village.
In particular, Moon Ae-ra's manner toward Kang Mu-won (played by Yoon Byung-hee) stood out. She warned the outsider's arrival with the sharp declaration, "This is my territory," and then snapped, "A country girl's coffee tastes a bit off for an important day, right? That's why I don't mix with people from Seoul," showing a cutting reaction toward Kang Mu-won. In the process Jo U-ri overwhelmed the scene with a solid gaze and an imposing force.
Meanwhile, Moon Ae-ra's "tsundere" reversal beauty hidden behind her cold exterior was also revealed. At a village meal she drew attention with the unexpected tenderness of removing sesame leaves for Kang Mu-won. Jo U-ri convincingly expressed the warm heart hidden behind a blunt dialect, showing the archetype of a character who is crunchy outside and soft inside.
