In the teaser at the end of tvN's You Quiz on the Block, which aired on the 6th, it featured Gong Seung-yeon and TWICE member Jeongyeon appearing as sisters while Gong Seung-yeon is appearing in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown.
Gong Seung-yeon is currently playing the role of the queen dowager in Perfect Crown and is giving a passionate performance. Jeongyeon, her younger sister, said with pride, "I'm so happy that my sister is doing well these days," as Gong Seung-yeon, who has drawn attention by earning the nickname "21st century queen dowager" for her perfect historical drama tone, is being noticed.
In particular, Jeongyeon said, "It was a time when I was mentally struggling," then suddenly held back tears and said, "I get choked up," arousing curiosity.
In 2020, Jeongyeon experienced side effects such as weight gain from Cushing's syndrome while taking steroids to treat a cervical disc condition.
Although Jeongyeon once caused concern by suspending activities several times for health reasons such as panic disorder, she has recently recovered her health and is receiving much support as she has returned to her pre–weight-gain appearance.
