DJ Soda shared an update one year after a severe bleaching accident.
On the 7th, DJ Soda revealed her new style on her personal social media, saying, "Everyone, I finally changed to a short cut one year after the bleaching incident. I think I endured it for a really long time."
That day DJ Soda said, "After that incident I went through such a hard time that I developed insomnia and social withdrawal, but I guess time really is a healer. I didn't get hair extensions or additional procedures at all, and only wore wigs for performances or shoots while really, stupidly growing it out for a year."
She continued, "I wanted to show you my recovery naturally and confidently rather than forcing myself to cover it up. Rather than forcing anything more, I wanted to give my hair time to heal naturally," and explained, "So for the past year my appearance was ugly, but I endured the embarrassment and only received scalp care very diligently."
DJ Soda recalled, "But strangely, some people treated this crappy-looking hair like a style and said it was unique and cool, and at the airport security checkpoint some staff who were inspecting my front looked at my back and were surprised, which was also funny."
DJ Soda said, "Many people are curious about the outcome of the salon incident, but instead of a proper apology they even tried to attack me by making false reports to media outlets and were blocked," and added, "Even while I was struggling, they seemed to be doing well after transferring the shop as if nothing happened. They'll probably feel a sting when they read this."
Meanwhile, DJ Soda shocked people last July when she confessed on social media that she lost more than 90% of her hair from severe scalp damage during a bleaching procedure.

Everyone, I finally changed to a short cut one year after the bleaching incident!
I think I really endured it for a long time.
After that incident I went through such a hard time that I developed insomnia and social withdrawal… I guess time really is a healer.
I didn't get hair extensions or additional procedures at all, and only wore wigs for performances or shoots while really stupidly growing it out for a year.
I wanted to show you my recovery naturally and confidently rather than forcing myself to cover it up.
Right after the incident they did a treatment saying it would care for me, used heat tools again, and even though my scalp hurt so much I asked them to stop, they kept blow-drying with hot air—I still remember that.
I also remember the two of them giggling as they looked into getting hair extensions.
If I had gotten hair extensions as the salon insisted from the start, my hair wouldn't have been able to bear the weight and would have been damaged even more severely.
Externally, if the hair on the whole head was broken like this, I thought the internal damage would be greater, so rather than forcing anything more, I wanted to give my hair time to heal naturally.
So for the past year my appearance was ugly, but I endured the embarrassment and only received scalp care very diligently.
But strangely, some people treated this crappy-looking hair like a style and said it was unique and cool
At the airport security checkpoint, some staff who were inspecting my front looked at my back and were surprised, which was also funny.
Ah, and many people are curious about the outcome of the salon incident, but instead of a proper apology they even tried to attack me by making false reports to media outlets and were blocked.
Even while I was struggling, they seemed to be doing well after transferring the shop as if nothing happened.
When I made the baking soda T-shirt before, they trembled saying I made all this up to make money from selling the T-shirts, so they'll probably feel a sting when they read this.
