Given that Katy Perry has recently been the subject of various disclosures and allegations, some believe Christina Ricci's reaction is meaningful.

Ruby Rose said, "Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at the Spice Market club in Melbourne," and alleged that while she was in her 20s and leaning on a friend's lap to rest, Perry approached, pushed her underwear to the side and rubbed her body part on Rose's face. Rose added, "I opened my eyes in shock and vomited on her."
She added that she is grateful to have survived long enough to find her voice, but that it shows how much trauma and sexual assault can affect someone.
Katy Perry's camp responded that the claims being spread by Ruby Rose are completely false and dangerous and irresponsible lies, saying that Rose has a history of repeatedly making serious public allegations against multiple people and that those claims have been repeatedly denied by the parties involved.
However, it was reported that an investigation into the matter is underway. Senior Constable Paul Hogan of Victoria Police said, "Detectives from the Melbourne sexual offences and child abuse investigation team are investigating an alleged historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010," and explained, "We have received a report that the incident occurred at a licensed venue in Melbourne's central business district."
Meanwhile, Katy Perry had a daughter with actor Orlando Bloom but they broke up, and she is publicly dating Canada's former prime minister Justin Trudeau.
