Actor Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won candidly revealed their plans for a second child.
On the 6th episode of MBC's "Countryside village Lee Jang-woo 3," Cho Hye-won visited Udeok Village where Lee Jang-woo lives.
That day, upon seeing the village's beautiful scenery, she said in admiration, "It's so much better than what I imagined from hearing about it alone that I was surprised. Really. I think I understand why people say it's so good."
Lee Jang-woo asked, "Have you ever lived in the countryside?", and Cho Hye-won expressed satisfaction, saying, "No, I haven't. So it's very refreshing." In response, Lee Jang-woo recounted an uncanny connection, saying, "When I went to the countryside for Lunar New Year, Jang-woo, Myeon-woo, Byeok-woo, Cheol-woo. Our family name uses the 'Woo' syllable, right? This is Udeok Village and everyone here has the 'Woo' syllable."
He went on to mention their plans for a second child, saying, "But I liked that so much. You think about children the same way I do, and that was really nice." Cho Hye-won agreed, saying, "That's right. I feel the same." Lee Jang-woo expressed a wish, saying, "If heaven really blesses us a lot, I'd like to have many children and live in a bustling house."
The production team asked, "What are your plans for children?", and Cho Hye-won said, "We want to have many. Originally we thought about three, but the more the better, so we're even considering up to five. If our bodies cooperate. Right?"
In response, Lee Jang-woo said, "I will make no comment," and added confidently, "But when you tell friends who have kids about this, they say, 'Try having them,' and they tell you to have them and then talk about it, so that seems fine." Cho Hye-won humorously revealed a bold side, saying, "I don't want them to give me time to rest. No time to think."
Then Lee Jang-woo said, "If you give AI your photo and mine, it shows a photo of the second child. That exists," and Cho Hye-won showed interest, saying, "Let's try. Can we do it now?" Afterwards the two asked the AI for an image of their child, and upon seeing the finished photo Cho Hye-won exclaimed in surprise, "Is this just me?"
Lee Jang-woo said, "It's so pretty," and Cho Hye-won showed affection, saying, "How could you let it out like this?" Lee Jang-woo said, "The lower face is not me but you," and Cho Hye-won expressed a wish, saying, "It's fascinating. If it's a daughter I hope she looks like you, and if it's a son I hope he looks like me."
Then Lee Jang-woo confessed, "I hope they don't inherit my appetite. Being hungry all the time can be distressing. And I hope they take after me a bit in personality," to which Cho Hye-won joked, "Why do you think my personality is not good?" Lee Jang-woo, flustered, replied, "No, that's not it..." prompting laughter. He then suggested, "They say Udeok Village has good energy. Let's take some of that energy with us later."
