A month earlier, Jang Young-ran revealed her own romance, saying, "I have to go to France. This time I'm going alone without a guide."
However, Jang Young-ran was directionally challenged, technophobic, and bad with directions. She said, "But I'm actually not good at flying either. I don't know how to call an Uber. I don't know how to read Google Maps."
And a month later at Incheon Airport. The production team brought good news to Jang Young-ran before her departure, saying, "They say there are far fewer pickpockets. Because tourists stopped coming so much during COVID, pickpockets had no way to make a living and many switched to delivery work."
Jang Young-ran said, "That's such a relief. I just took a calming pill. I wasn't nervous, but people around me kept saying, 'Young-ran, be careful,'" and added, "My husband couldn't sleep, my son Jun-woo asked if I packed my passport, he bought me a phone strap — it was chaos."
Furthermore, Jang Young-ran revealed she felt anxious because she encountered misfortune even before departure. She had met a scammer.
When the production team was surprised, Jang Young-ran explained, "(Just now) I was standing still and someone asked me to take a photo, so I took the photo, and then I met a scammer again. Suddenly they promoted a product. While promoting it, I searched the product and found it was a pyramid scheme."
She then sighed, saying, "Maybe I just have a face that attracts that kind of thing."
