Abyss Company's eagerly launched first virtual boy group 'Miwan Boys' has finally unveiled its full five-member lineup. The last member's narrative, Won Ju-yul, has been revealed.
Won Ju-yul's solo narrative animation "Piece5 | Apartment Lights" and story images, released via the official social media channels on the 3rd, evoke a lyrical film. The video sensually depicts Won Ju-yul's growth as he communicates with the world through piano performance and moves toward his dreams, having been a lonely boy in an apartment forest. In particular, the narrative, which begins with the weighty line "I am a cowardly boy" and connects to other boys through music, stimulates emotion.
The video is directed by Ryuu Nakayama, director of the animation Chainsaw Man, drawing attention. Nakayama's characteristic delicate direction combined with Won Ju-yul's solo song lyrics has earned reactions calling it an unprecedented "narrative cheat code" for a virtual idol.
With the addition of the final member Won Ju-yul following Na I-seon, Im On, An Seok-woo, and Ma Ha-jin, Miwan Boys' "fateful links" are now complete.
