The Return of SUPERMAN's Oh Seung-hwan's son showed signs of being a language prodigy.
On the 6th, KBS 2TV's The Return of SUPERMAN (hereinafter "The Return of SUPERMAN") featured "legendary closing pitcher" Oh Seung-hwan revealing daily life with his 35-month-old son, Seo-jun.
On that day, Oh Seung-hwan, who revealed his son Seo-jun for the first time, said, "He looks 100% like me on the outside. Daegu baseball fans are so identical to me that if Seo-jun were lost in Daegu they would definitely take him to the stadium. He definitely has a somewhat down-to-earth side," expressing his affection.
Oh Seung-hwan also said, "It's funny to boast like this, but he reads letters at an early age," and boasted that Seo-jun accurately reads hangul without memorizing it and has even mastered English.
Lalal was surprised, saying, "Isn't he a language prodigy?", and Oh Seung-hwan added, "He says words I never expected. I'm also surprised," Lalal reacted, "This is so shocking. Seo-jun is a prodigy. What will Seo-jun become when he grows up?"
Above all, Seo-jun showed off baseball DNA resembling his father. On Sept. 30, 2025, during Oh Seung-hwan's retirement ceremony, Seo-jun threw the ceremonial first pitch.
Six months later, after a growth spurt, he accurately threw the ball to his father and already displayed pitching skills. In the studio, Lalal said, "You can't ignore these genes," and Kim Jongmin also marveled, "It seems he has athletic DNA."
Oh Seung-hwan said, "Seo-jun will learn a lot about baseball as he grows, and as a father, those parts are really admirable and proud. I don't know how he will grow in the future, but he is so pretty and lovable," expressing his expectations.
Meanwhile, Seo-jun attracted attention as it was reported that he grasped numbers not only in hangul and English but already from 27 months old. Hearing that he not only writes numbers but also does addition and subtraction, Lalal was left speechless and Kim Jongmin was surprised, "He does subtraction at 35 months old?"
