On the 5th broadcast, SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereinafter Same Bed, Different Dreams 2) featured newlywed Bae Seong-jae.

Kim Da-young's mother visited the couple's newlywed home. Kim Da-young's mother drew attention by using honorific language with Bae Seong-jae. Bae Seong-jae explained that there is an 11-year difference between him and his mother-in-law.
Bae Seong-jae said, "I wish she would make herself comfortable, but if I force her to drop the honorifics it might be uncomfortable, so I wait until she becomes comfortable someday, but I hope she does not bow her head. When she comes to visit sometimes she comes out to the front door and says, "Take care." She can say it lying down."
Bae Seong-jae added, "My wife and my mother-in-law are 25 years apart. My mother and my mother-in-law are 25 years apart. When both families gather it feels like three generations are together. My mother treats her daughter-in-law like a granddaughter."
An awkward atmosphere formed between the two, and Bae Seong-jae suggested that his mother-in-law drop the honorifics. Kim Da-young's mother said she always resolves it in her heart but when she actually sees Bae Seong-jae's face it's not easy to drop the honorifics, drawing laughter.
