Model Lee Sora spoke about her determination to challenge the runway again after overcoming a past catastrophic injury and trauma. In particular, she expressed heartfelt feelings on her personal social media, revealing her earnestness and prompting fans' continued support.
Earlier, in the first episode of MBC's Sora and Jin Kyung, which aired on the 26th, Lee Sora was shown beginning walking practice ahead of her return to Paris Fashion Week. But during practice she drew attention by mentioning the lingering pain, saying, "Can you hear my hip clicking?"
The reason she became sensitive to pain was because of a past accident. Lee Sora recalled the time of her 2011 femur fracture accident, saying, "I was in a wheelchair for about six months. It was like that even at home, and I couldn't walk properly for a year." It was the moment the top model suffered a catastrophic injury to the leg that was like her life.
She confessed that the trauma still remained, saying, "Safely, and walking without pain, is the most important thing," and "I'm scared it will hurt, I'm afraid I'll fall."
Nevertheless, the challenge did not stop. Recently at Seoul Fashion Week, she visited and, surprised by the changed walking style with Hong Jin Kyung, admired, "These days it's much faster and more concise." But she also revealed realistic concerns, asking, "Can we stand on that stage?" Hong Jin Kyung also conveyed tension, saying, "Waiting for contact from the agency, every day feels like my blood is drying."
Meanwhile, on the 5th Lee Sora left an even more meaningful message through social media that attracted attention. Posting a past photo of herself, she offered encouragement to herself with the words, "To me in 1993. In 33 years you'll challenge Paris Fashion Week."
