British pop star Sam Smith and fashion designer Christian Cowan are engaged.
On the 5th (local time), Page Six reported that Sam Smith and Christian Cowan, who attended the 2026 Met Gala together on the 4th, were seen discussing the engagement at the Mark Hotel.
According to one insider, "I understand it was a private engagement," and "They are so happy and seem completely smitten with each other," the source said.
Sam Smith has previously publicly identified as a nonbinary person who is attracted to men. He began dating actor Brandon Flynn in 2017 but they broke up; in 2022, dating rumors surfaced after he watched President Joe Biden sign the "Respect for Marriage Act (RMA)" at the White House with Christian Cowan.
