Comedian-turned-dentist Kim Young-sam posted an explanation two weeks after targeting a domestic airline.
On the 5th, Kim Young-sam uploaded several photos to his social account, saying "Going back to Korea in first class too. first-class villain!!"
The photos showed Kim Young-sam returning to Korea seated in the domestic airline's first class. Earlier, on the 21st of last month, he had drawn attention with a post criticizing the airline's first class.
At the time, Kim Young-sam posted a first-class boarding confirmation photo, saying "How did I get to the U.S. from such a cramped place. The study room in high school was even wider~~ㅠㅠ" He had upgraded the seat to first class using mileage, but complained about the narrow space.
After the post was reported in the press and elicited various reactions, Kim Young-sam drew attention again about two weeks later when he boarded a flight home from the United States and posted another message related to the same airline's first class.
But this time he showed an opposite reaction, saying "No matter how much it is first class, it's too spacious.. it's so spacious you could play soccerㅋㅋ next time I'll have to bring a soccer ball^^"
Regarding last month's post that said "it was cramped," he later explained, "I joked that first class was cramped.. how unfunny must a comedian be that even if he jokes, reporters would write it up as serious news? It's not the reporters' fault.. it's the fault of an unfunny comedian."
Meanwhile, Kim Young-sam debuted in 2001 as a comedian in KBS's 16th open recruitment. After about three years working as a comedian, he majored in dentistry and switched careers to become a dentist, and currently runs a dental clinic in Gangnam.
