KOYOTE Kim Jongmin teams up with Seo Kyoung-duk to promote Dokdo.
On the 6th, according to the office of Seo Kyoung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, Kim Jongmin and Seo Kyoung-duk joined forces to release a multilingual video titled "Dokdo rocks, the history you should know."
The 4-minute 30-second video details how Dokdo, made up of hundreds of rocks, is a vast ecological museum with the entire island designated as Natural Monument No. 336, introduces Haenyeo Rock, which became a stage for Jeju haenyeo who conducted economic activities on Dokdo, and Gaje Rock, which was the habitat of the now extinct Dokdo sea lion driven to extinction by Japanese overhunting.
The video was co-produced with the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation Content Promotion Agency and was released in Korean and English. Professor Seo Kyoung-duk said the video was planned "to introduce the stories of the rocks, which are Dokdo's living history and records, more easily and entertainingly at home and abroad."
Kim Jongmin said he was "pleased to convey the rocks and history of Dokdo with his voice and hopes many people at home and abroad will watch it."
