LE SSERAFIM has revealed the title of the lead single from their new full-length album for the first time, kicking off the countdown to their comeback.
At 12 a.m. on the 6th, LE SSERAFIM posted on the team's official social media and global fan platform Weverse the title of the lead single from their second full-length album ''PUREFLOW' pt.1 (Pureflow pt.1) and a promotion timetable containing a variety of content schedules.
The title track of the newly unveiled release is "BOOMPALA." Just as the album title "PUREFLOW" was created as an anagram of the English word "POWERFUL," the title track "BOOMPALA" is also a word not registered in dictionaries, a neologism newly coined by LE SSERAFIM for this comeback. Global fans' curiosity is soaring about the meaning contained in the original title and the overall mood of the song.
According to the released timetable, nonstop promotions will sweep through until the release date on the 22nd. First, on the 8th a video called "Just BOOMPALA," which gives a glimpse of the title track's mood, will be unveiled, and on the 11th a "BOOMPALA Pavilion," an exhibition space, will greet fans. Then from the 12th to the 14th, intriguing contents shrouded in mystery that take specific forms — "BIRCH SCAR," "YUSU LILY," "PEONY ROOM" — will open sequentially, adding the fun of speculation. After compact version album information on the 15th, a title track preview on the 18th, a highlight medley on the 19th, and two music video teaser videos released consecutively on the 20th and 21st will raise comeback excitement to a peak.
LE SSERAFIM warmed up early by pre-releasing the lead single "CELEBRATION" on the 24th of last month ahead of their official comeback.
