Comedian couple No. 24 Kim Haejun and Kim Seunghye have overcome the pain of two miscarriages and succeeded in becoming pregnant.
Kim Seunghye uploaded a video titled "Everyone, I'm pregnant" to her YouTube channel on the 4th.
In the video she said, "Hello. I'm Kim Seunghye. I turned on the camera today because I have good news. Everyone, I'm finally pregnant. So this video documents the processes we went through while preparing for pregnancy."
She continued, "When we officially started preparing for pregnancy, I became pregnant right away but then experienced consecutive chemical miscarriages, which was quite hard. Looking at the comments on the YouTube videos, many people are praying for us. They said they are praying a lot for the baby, which really encouraged me and I am truly grateful," she said, expressing her thanks.
She added, "I think many viewers are preparing for pregnancy, so I will pray that everyone who wishes for a baby receives my pregnancy vibes and becomes pregnant."
The pregnancy process was then revealed: after two chemical miscarriages, Kim Seunghye did not become pregnant for several months. She then succeeded in becoming pregnant through in vitro fertilization.
Kim Seunghye said, "As soon as I saw the two lines, I called the hospital and asked what to do, and they told me to come in right away. At the hospital they did a blood test and checked my thyroid levels because thyroid levels can suddenly rise when you're pregnant. It was the ninth day after ovulation when I saw the two lines. I was somewhat very happy but also scared."
She confessed her fears, but the levels rose steadily, and after her husband she also came out about the pregnancy to her family.
That day Kim Seunghye had also shared the pregnancy news on social media. She said, "An angel baby has finally come to our couple!" and added, "After worry and excitement, we are cautiously announcing this now at 17 weeks. As first-time parents, we have many shortcomings, but we will show you how we work hard and get through this. Please cheer for our family a lot."
