Actress Choi Kang-hee confessed to feeling depressed, drawing attention.
On the 4th Choi Kang-hee wrote, "Yesterday a great loneliness visited me," adding, "One of my two prayer requests was 'let me be able to pray,' so I sat at the prayer desk in a corner of my house that I had set up but never once tried. The prayer stand fans gave me, the prayer notebook and candle I gave myself. I woke up early this morning, turned on the stand with us, tried to sleep a bit, sat at my desk before going to radio work and tried writing in the notebook," she posted.
She added, "And I hope this message gives strength to everyone who is tired and lonely and reading this. Fighting!!!!"
The released photos capture the view of the home that Choi Kang-hee saw when she woke up at dawn. Choi Kang-hee, who recently showed footage of helping grandfathers and grandmothers in the neighborhood by collecting recyclables, said, "A great loneliness visited me," which raised curiosity about the reason.
Earlier, Choi Kang-hee uploaded a video titled "The income of the grandfather who collects recyclables, the valuable scrap is separate" on her personal channel 'I am also Choi Kang-hee'.
Choi Kang-hee followed a grandfather who actually collects recyclables and spent the day collecting paper herself. The grandfather explained, "We start working at 3:30 a.m. People put things out after they're done with business, there's no traffic danger, and when it's full, the scrap dealer opens at 6:30. Sometimes you get 3,000 won, sometimes 5,000 won."
Choi Kang-hee pulled a handcart with the grandfather and stacked paper neatly on it whenever they found recyclables. The grandfather said, "If you take that (egg cartons) they'll give you less than 1,000 won. A few hundred won. Maybe 200–300 won," and Choi Kang-hee asked in surprise, "Isn't it paid by weight?" The grandfather replied, "They pay 50 won per kilo, so even if one handcart is loaded it's 5,000 won or 3,000 won," which shocked viewers. After going around the neighborhood several times and filling the handcart with paper, the two moved to the scrap dealer. The price for the paper they had collected was about 2,000 won, and the money earned from working from dawn was about 8,000 won.
Choi Kang-hee and the grandfather's wife again walked around the neighborhood collecting paper and scrap metal. After finishing the day's work, Choi Kang-hee added warmth by gifting the two a bag and dining vouchers at the end.
