Earlier Jeon Somi said she had memories of being hurt by Kim Se-jeong during their dormitory days as I.O.I members. Jeon Somi said she had to juggle activities and school life at the age of 16.
She explained, "It was 10 years ago. There was a monthly meeting. With so many members, the meeting would get long if each person said even one thing. But I had to go to school the next day and I also had a schedule. I thought it would interfere with my schedule, so I lay down."
At that time Kim Se-jeong reportedly said, 'Somi, the unnis are all sitting and we're in a group meeting, so lying down doesn't seem polite.' Jeon Somi lamented, "I immediately got up and attended the meeting until the end."
Hearing this, Kim Se-jeong said, "I don't remember well, but I still think sitting would have been appropriate," stating her view. Jeon Somi quietly expressed that what she found scarier than Kim Se-jeong at the time was the eleven pairs of eyes all staring at her and wished someone had spoken to her gently.
