On the 4th episode of TV CHOSUN's "Joseon's lover," the recent life of Han Yun-seo, who has a boyfriend, was depicted.
Han Yun-seo's mother, seeing Han Yun-seo come to introduce her boyfriend, said, "I am deeply moved. I am grateful for having come this far after 21 years living away from home," expressing gratitude for how well she had grown up.
She added, "Mom always wishes for your success. When you were unknown I would open my eyes and put water in a bowl and pray every day. I hope Yun-seo meets a good person, gets married, and that the broadcasting work you want flows out like a faucet," and she appeared choked up.
Han Yun-seo's mother recalled a painful memory, "When you were taking comedy exams they said my energy combined with the child's would be good. One morning I said nothing and took the first dawn train up. I went to the front of the house and rang the bell, and they said, 'Mom, why did you come' and started saying things. What would parents' feelings have been like?" Han Yun-seo confessed that after failing six exams her self-esteem had dropped a lot, so excessive love felt burdensome.
Han Yun-seo said, "There is a reason I endured 15 years of unknown life. There were many times I wanted to run away. I suffered a lot of belittlement. I once appeared on an entertainment program. Every article had exactly one comment. For a year it was on every article of mine. I thought, 'I think I got a fan.' When I typed that ID in Hangul it was my mother's name. I came this far thanks to my mother," she said as she shed tears.
