Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has given birth to her third child via surrogate.
Benji Madden, a member of the band Good Charlotte and Cameron Diaz's husband, announced the birth of their third child, Notus, on his social media on the 4th (local time).
Benji Madden said, "Cameron and I are happy, excited and feel greatly blessed to announce the birth of our third child, Notus Madden. Welcome to the world, son," and "we love a life together as a family. Our i-dle are healthy and happy, and we are grateful. We are really enjoying ourselves," he said directly. Cameron Diaz also left a heart emoji in the comments on the post.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden married in 2015 and announced the birth of their first daughter in January 2020. They later announced the birth of a son in March 2024 through a similar social media post. At that time, the couple also conveyed only the news of the birth, not a pregnancy.
The two, who do not often appear together at official events, said in the post, "We will not post photos to protect the safety and privacy of our i-dle."
After having children, Cameron Diaz has prioritized parenting above all else. A source told People, "For years Cameron was completely focused on work but always wanted a family. Everything changed when she met Benji, and that made her priorities clear."
The source added, "Becoming a mother meant so much more than she imagined. It brought a new kind of happiness," and "she loves living as a mother. Nothing makes her happier than her i-dle."
The source said of the couple, "Both are parents who are deeply involved in parenting. Now even if Cameron works, she does so entirely on her own terms," and "every professional decision and project is carefully adjusted around family life. The most important thing to her is living as a mother, and everything else comes after that."
