Former baseball player turned commentator Oh Seung-hwan appears on The Return of SUPERMAN with his firstborn son, who is the spitting image of him.
On KBS2's The Return of SUPERMAN, legendary baseball player Oh Seung-hwan and his 35-month-old "hexagonal baby" son Oh Seo-jun will make an appearance.
The Return of SUPERMAN episode 620, titled "spring days with you are passing," will air on the 6th (Wed) at 8:30 p.m., with MC Kim Jongmin and Lalal joining. Oh Seung-hwan's son, the "hexagonal baby" Oh Seo-jun, who combines outstanding athletic DNA with language ability, draws attention.
Seo-jun, 35 months old, amazes with his "language prodigy" traits. Saying "Hello, I'm Oh Seo-jun" in an adorable self-introduction, Seo-jun captures attention by perfectly reading Korean, astonishing everyone. He points to each letter in a picture book and reads them accurately, and even reads signs like "dermatology, pharmacy" with ease. He is even shown reading English words, prompting admiration. Seo-jun immediately reads the English words his father points to — "carrot! chili! onion!" — without hesitation, and Lalal says, "He seems like a language prodigy," remaining speechless for a long time.
Meanwhile, Seo-jun, who even resembles his father Oh Seung-hwan down to his rabbit-like front teeth, once again captures attention by inheriting his father's athletic nervous system DNA. Oh Seung-hwan said, "He could hold his head up 30 days after birth and walked from 7 to 8 months. He seems to walk better than kids his age," expressing a proud smile at his son's remarkable growth rate.
Earlier, Oh Seung-hwan married a beautiful wife 10 years his junior in 2022 and embraced their son Seo-jun. He later announced his wife's second pregnancy himself, saying on a portal site blog last December, "Seo-jun's younger sibling is growing in my wife's belly. She is about 17 weeks pregnant now, and I think we can feel the baby moving a little in her belly. You'll congratulate us, right?" He expressed his excitement. The second baby is known to be due between May and June this year.
