Lee Ji-hyun, formerly of the group Jewelry, has been reporting her current status after proving her "golden hands" skills in earnest since transforming into a hairdresser.
Lee Ji-hyun recently opened up on social media, saying, "If you invest just one hour, it gets this much better, but living a busy life I couldn't take good care of myself."
Photos and videos released together showed hair that had been brittle from severe damage transformed into a glossy state after a restoration clinic. Previously the hair was so damaged that she described it as a "complete mess," but after styling it drew attention with a dramatically changed look.
Lee Ji-hyun said, "Because it was severely damaged hair, no style looked clean and it was stressful," and expressed satisfaction, saying, "After receiving the restoration clinic, the shop staff said, 'She looks like a newlywed.'"
Earlier she said, "If a short cut suited me, I would have cut it without hesitation, but I was so worried that I even considered hair extensions," revealing the hair worries she experienced. But in the end she solved the problem with her own hands, showing the prowess of "hairdresser Lee Ji-hyun."
In particular, Lee Ji-hyun drew attention after she challenged the national cosmetology qualification exam in 2023 and passed after as many as six attempts. She later opened a hair salon in Gyeonggi Province and started a second life.
After two divorces she, who is raising one son and one daughter alone, is taking on a new challenge while balancing childcare and work. From singer to actress and now a hairdresser. Support continues to pour in for Lee Ji-hyun's current status after she personally revived even her own hair with "golden hands."
