A special documentary retracing the life and acting journey of actor Choi Bul-am has arrived for viewers. In particular, the behind-the-scenes story of how he met his wife also drew attention.

On that day's broadcast, Choi Bul-am's young years, when he began acting at the Myeongdong Theater in 1955, were revealed, evoking deep nostalgia. While working part-time at the National Theater Company, he was chosen as an actor and gradually established his position on stage.
But the decisive turning point that changed his life was love. It was his meeting with his wife, Kim Min-ja. Choi Bul-am, who fell for the rising actress Kim Min-ja, decided to leave the National Theater Company and chose love over theater.
After that, he began full-fledged broadcast acting through KBS in 1967. It is even more meaningful in that he decided to accept drama roles he had been refusing all this time to meet Kim Min-ja. The two were married after four years of dating.
After moving his activities to MBC, Choi Bul-am worked alongside contemporaries such as Baek Il-seop, Park Geun-hyung and Kim Hye-ja, helping lead a pillar of Korea's acting history.
