Kim Jaejoong opens up about his family history and forms a bond with Takuya.
A preview for next week's episode featuring Kim Jaejoong was released for KBS 2TV's Salimnam 2, which aired on the 2nd.
That day, Kim Jaejoong visited Takuya's rented room and admonished him, saying, "Whiskey everywhere, all sorts of luxury goods. It's all show, it's fake. It doesn't make you look cool."
The two then met fortune teller Park Seong-jun to have their saju read, and the fortune teller looked at Takuya and said, "He gives the impression of a pushover," and, "It was a complete mess." Kim Jaejoong was surprised and asked, "Are you a pushover?"
The reason the two met was revealed at the end of the preview. Takuya, who recently drew attention in Japan for a brief meeting with his biological father, said, "Do I have to see my father?" and expressed concern about future meetings. Hearing this, Kim Jaejoong said, "A person who is a father came to visit.." and confessed an experience during his military service, sparking curiosity.
Earlier, Kim Jaejoong had confessed on several variety shows that he was adopted at age 3. Kim Jaejoong said, "I was adopted when I was 3. I went to a home with eight sisters, to a wealthy family with daughters. At first I didn't know I was adopted. I found out later after debuting."
Kim Jaejoong said he accidentally learned of his adoption after his debut, saying, "Even after I debuted, my parents didn't tell me, and during a music video shoot I received a call from an unknown number. At the time, fans' calls came in a lot, so I naturally wasn't going to pick up, but something felt strange. Even though it was during filming I briefly stopped and answered, and they said, 'Jaejun, have you been well?'" He said "Jaejun" was the old name his aunt used to call him.
Kim Jaejoong also confessed about his family, saying, "What was strange suddenly made sense. That's when I first learned I was adopted. The fact that I was adopted was known to my family, but it was kept secret from me."
Meanwhile, KBS's Salimnam 2 will air at 9:20 p.m. on the 9th.
