Comedian Kim Young-hee confessed to having experience directing adult films, including "Gisaengchun."
'Malja Show' Kim Young-hee revealed she has experience directing adult films and delivered a message that you can dream even at a late age.
The KBS2 show 'Malja Show,' broadcast on the 4th, was presented as a "confession" special. That day, "Malja halmae" Kim Young-hee had a time to respond to a special worry that said, "I have a dream I couldn't tell anyone for fear of being laughed at. Can I dream again at a late age?"
Kim Young-hee said she has another dream besides being a comedian and drew attention by mentioning "adult film director." She said, "I couldn't date for 11 years before I met my husband," and added, "If you can't date for a long time, you start to assign meaning even to common courtesies. Feeling the seriousness of it, I signed up for a paid late-night adult channel to awaken my dating cells."
Kim Young-hee said, "There is the same male actor who appears in every work, an actor named Min Doyoon. That friend acted very well," and added, "One day new releases stopped coming out and I got worried, so I looked for him on social media and sent a DM. It turned out he was the same age, and through that we became really close friends."
Kim Young-hee said, "One day I told Min Doyoon, 'I want to make a film with you.' Later, by a chance opportunity Wooyeon came and I was able to make an adult film starring this friend." She said she directed three adult films and added, "After dating and getting married, my ideas were exhausted. But I will do it again someday," and advised, "You must respect your own dreams and profession for others to respect them. Publicize it widely to those around you and take the step to put it into practice as long as you can."
Earlier, Kim Young-hee directed the 2020 adult film "Gisaengchun." At the time, Kim Young-hee said, "It is the story of a woman named Chun having a passionate love with a mansion owner. Rather than a simple love story, I will talk about why a woman named Chun came to live underground and about the current three-poison (3-po) generation."
The trailer drew attention for seeming similar to but different from director Bong Joon-ho's film "Parasite," with actor Min Doyoon playing the wealthy household elite Mr. Min, actor Oh Dong-won playing Kim Gisa, and actresses Joo A, Yoon Yul, and Jung Da-won among others drawing attention for their chemistry.
