On that day Jeon Somi recalled the time she won 'Produce 101.' She said she had a rivalry with runner-up Kim Se-jeong for six months and said, "We competed for first place every week and debuted as one team. So I found Kim Se-jeong difficult," drawing attention with her confession.
Kim Se-jeong also empathized, "When I try to get close, I usually get worse at getting close. Because variety shows kept dividing us into first and second, I wanted to say, 'We're not like that. We're close,' but in reality I found Jeon Somi difficult."
She went on to say, "I'm old-fashioned and Jeon Somi has a foreign mindset, so I thought I should show her more courtesy," revealing that differences in values were also a reason it was difficult.
Earlier, Jeon Somi complained that she had memories of being hurt by Kim Se-jeong. She recalled that when she was 16 she was lying down because she had an early schedule the next day during a monthly meeting, and Kim Se-jeong pointed out that it seemed impolite.
