Former ssireum wrestler and broadcaster Lee Man-Gi said he became a grandfather of triplets.
On the 5th, KBS 1TV's Morning Yard ran the "With the famous person" segment, featuring former ssireum wrestler and broadcaster Lee Man-Gi and his second son Lee Dong-hoon, who appeared and talked.
That day Lee Man-Gi appeared on Morning Yard with his second son and said about his eldest son's recent situation, "My eldest, whom I had long awaited, I also became a grandfather. It's not one person but triplets," he said.
He continued, "My eldest son, who grew up with difficulty, went to the community service center to register the births. The first is a son, the second and third are daughters. One grandson and two granddaughters," he boasted.
Lee Man-Gi said, "It's a joyous event, but I thought of the three as numbers. When they were actually born I thought, 'How will we raise these?' These days even one child is hard. My eldest son's shoulders keep sagging. The mother raises one, Dong-hoon you raise one, the daughter-in-law raises one," expressing concern. He added, "Usually people say they become doting grandparents when a grandchild is born, I raised children but grandchildren feel different."
Announcer Park Cheol-gyu, who recently became a father, also said, "Not long ago when my daughter was born, about a month later he came to the house. He said she was so cute and at home he said, 'She lingers in my eyes, I miss her so much,'" he said.
Lee Man-Gi added, "They were born healthy, but they still need to stay in the hospital for about a month, so it looks like we'll know by early June."
