A Single's Inferno 4 cast member, Guk Dong-ho, expressed his position on school violence allegations.
On the 4th, Guk Dong-ho posted on his social media, "What a certain individual is currently claiming unilaterally is not based on any facts, and I make it clear that I have no connection to the incidents in question. False information is causing serious harm to me and those around me," he said.
Regarding the school violence allegations raised by a lawyer that day, Guk Dong-ho dismissed them, saying, "I did not participate in or assist with actions such as 'hitting someone on the head with a badminton racket,' 'placing thumbtacks on a chair,' or 'putting glue in a locker' carried out by a third party."
He continued, "I did not date Moon OOO in middle school. I question whether such a person even exists. I never hung out in groups at hagwon," and, "The middle school period was when I was in my early to mid teens. It is not true that at that young age I brought a cake, knelt in front of many people and confessed. I never engaged in such behavior."
Guk Dong-ho criticized, "That logic is not based on facts; it frames the other party as someone who will not remember, decides the conclusion in advance, and then develops the argument. Even if evidence is weak, if you mobilize people who will make consistent claims and agree with them, unilateral claims can appear to be facts — I know that vulnerability better than anyone, and I think this is based on that."
Guk Dong-ho added, "I ask for an apology for defamation through stories not based on facts, and I request that the spread of false information be restrained in the future."

This is Guk Dong-ho.
I am speaking to correct false facts.
What a certain individual is currently claiming unilaterally is not based on any facts, and I make it clear that I have no connection to the incidents in question.
False information is causing serious harm to me and those around me.
1. I did not participate in or assist with actions by a third party such as 'hitting someone on the head with a badminton racket, placing thumbtacks on a chair, or putting glue in a locker.'
2. I did not date Moon O-hye (Moon O-eun) in middle school.
I question whether such a person even exists. I never hung out in groups at hagwon.
3. The middle school period was when I was in my early to mid teens. It is not true that at that young age I brought a cake, knelt in front of many people and confessed.
I never engaged in such behavior. I do not confess carelessly to just anyone.
4. I believe fact-checking should always be the basic premise. Contrary to statements that I quit being an accountant to become an influencer, I am still working for an accounting firm and have never left my profession.
5. That logic is not based on facts; it frames the other party as someone who will not remember, decides the conclusion in advance, and then develops the argument. Even if evidence is weak, if you mobilize people who will make consistent claims and agree with them, unilateral claims can appear to be facts — I know that vulnerability better than anyone, and I think this is based on that.
Therefore, if I were to make the same claims as the other party without evidence, I would become the victim and the other party would become the perpetrator.
If the unilateral claims are behaviors I committed in the past, it would be right for me to acknowledge and apologize, but I am particularly disappointed that unverified unilateral claims are being listed and "those claims consistently end up as law firm promotion." I ask for an apology for defamation through stories not based on facts, and I request that the spread of false information be restrained in the future.<
