Comedian Shin Gi-ru said she is often told she has sexual charm.
Shin Gi-ru appears on SBS Plus' Shinppal talk show Strange Stories 2, which airs at 10:30 p.m. on the 4th, and when host Lee Guk-ju asked, "Have you ever had a fortune-telling reading?" she replied, "I've had my fortune told about three times. People often read my face."
When Lee Guk-ju said, "For decades they insist I'm 'cat-faced,'" Shin Gi-ru asked about her real looks, saying, "One more upgrade from 'cat-faced' is called 'the mouth of desire.'" The fortune-tellers who were closely inspecting Shin Gi-ru all answered in unison with "'00-faced,'" turning the place into laughter.
Shin Gi-ru, showing a pouty face, said, "From now on I'll be called '00-faced,'" then revealed, "It's a bit awkward for me to say this myself, but I hear a lot that I have sexual charm. Of the three readings I've had, two people said that. I'm really curious whether I have sexual charm. Also, what exactly is sexual charm?" The fortune-teller then delivered a divination beginning, "The sexual charm toward the opposite sex is...," which again provoked laughter.
Meanwhile, the fortune-tellers said, "It looks like luck will come in big starting next year. We also see documents coming in. Is there something you are planning to start?" Upon this, Shin Gi-ru replied, "That's right," sounding surprised. The fortune-teller offered a happy prediction, saying, "If you release an album or actively promote starting next year and work hard through the year after next (2029), you are destined to succeed."
