The Guk Dong-ho school violence controversy began on the 3rd when lawyer A posted on social media. A said she was bullied by Guk Dong-ho during her school years and "I was victimized by the school bullies during my school years, and the boyfriend of the girl who led the harassment among that group performed a 'confession attack' on me," "I heard that after appearing on Single's Inferno he quit his professional job and now lives as an influencer; I lived in hell while Single's Inferno was airing," she said.
A identified the person who bullied her in school photos by name as Single's Inferno 4 cast member Guk Dong-ho and alleged, "Your girlfriend had people hit my head with a badminton racket, during my break they stuck thumbtacks into my chair while I went to the bathroom, they put superglue on my lock so I couldn't open my locker—know that? Guk Dong-ho immediately denied the allegations. His agency Mood said, "We will determine the truth based on objective data and evidence. As the other party continues to make unilateral claims while citing specific circumstances, we recognize the seriousness of this matter and have carried out a thorough fact-check," and "We underwent a strict pre-screening process at the time of casting, and our internal investigation found no involvement in the violent acts mentioned in the post or in so-called 'exerting power during school years.' Guk Dong-ho also issued a statement. He denied participating in or abetting "a third party hitting someone's head with a badminton racket," "placing thumbtacks on a chair," or "putting glue on a locker," and he rejected having ever made a confession attack or dated the person who bullied A.

Contrary to claims that I quit being a certified public accountant and became an influencer, I am still working at an accounting firm and have never quit my profession. That logic is not based on fact; the other party frames it as if the victim would not remember, decides the conclusion in advance and then builds the argument," and he pointed out that A is promoting a law firm.
As Guk Dong-ho and his agency issued statements, A also released an additional statement. A said, "My claim ending up as law firm promotion? I said that if I became the lead lawyer at a victim-specialized law firm and then returned, the victim would no longer be a victim forever; that was the context. Rather, my work has been paralyzed and I have suffered operational losses because I brought this case into the public. It seems they just want to expose my weakness."
