Broadcaster and lawyer Seodongju experienced severe traffic congestion during the golden holiday in May.
On the 3rd, Seodongju posted on her social media, "I left Seoul at 9:30 a.m. yesterday and only arrived in Gyeongju at 9 p.m.," along with several photos.
She said, "I think this is the first time in my life I've seen traffic this heavy," and "After eating and getting into the lodging, it was already 10:30 p.m. Even if I had lunch and dinner in between, it was still a long 13-hour journey to arrive," she lamented.
She added, "It was not an easy day, but I arrived safely without any accidents, and I'm still grateful to be able to end the day with a fire-gazing moment like this."
The released photos showed Seodongju traveling to Gyeongju with her pet dog. A photo suggesting that she left early but arrived only after the moon had risen at night drew attention.
Meanwhile, Seodongju remarried last June to a non-celebrity man four years her junior who works as a manager at SM C&C.
