Group KOYOTE member Shinji joined the ranks of married women after holding an outdoor wedding with her husband Moonwon, who is seven years younger, and photos from the wedding venue were released.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, Shinji and Moonwon held a private wedding at Raum Art Center in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The emcees for the first part of the ceremony were MC Boom and comedian Moon Seyoon, who led the proceedings in a calm atmosphere. The congratulatory speeches were given by another family, KOYOTE members Kim Jongmin and Baekga, who congratulated and encouraged the couple as they looked toward their future.
In particular, they showed their close friendship toward Shinji by performing a surprise event singing Sung Si Kyung's "You were moving," and Shinji cried, visibly moved.
The wedding songs were also passionate. Beloved junior singer Ailee sang the wedding song "Heaven," and singer Baek Z Young sang Sung Si Kyung's "Two People," as all the guests sincerely celebrated the couple's lifelong union.
Shinji and Moonwon also recalled the many messages of support and wrote on their wedding invitation, "We hope to nurture the love we have strengthened while facing each other into a great love that will allow us to walk forward looking toward the same place. Meanwhile, news of Shinji's marriage first emerged in June last year. At that time, it was reported that she was shooting wedding photos with Moonwon, a singer seven years her junior, without any prior dating rumors. In addition, Moonwon has one daughter from his previous marriage, and the fact that he remarried Shinji drew intense public attention.
