Singer Yoo Seung-joon announced he would start serious communication by holding a Q&A for the first time in 24 years.
On the 2nd, Yoo Seung-joon released a new video titled 'Yoo Seung-joon Q&A begins' on his personal social media.
That day Yoo Seung-joon said, "It's been a while since I greeted you a bit seriously like this. Have you been well? I am doing very well thanks to you. I am very grateful to have a space where I can communicate with you."
He went on to say, "This time I plan to have a somewhat special time on my YouTube channel. It's not that new. I want to hold a Q&A because I believe I can be more sincere and honest than anyone and share my life as it is."
Yoo Seung-joon said, "I'm not fifty yet. I'm in my forties. While I wonder where all that time went, those times come back to me vividly. At a young age I received a lot of love and popularity. I also received many misunderstandings, criticism and censure."
He added, "If you have worries you can't tell anyone, small life concerns, challenges, or even funny and light matters, it's fine. If there's anything you're curious about or want to share, I hope this becomes a time to share and talk together."
Finally Yoo Seung-joon said, "If you have questions about me, there's nothing we can't talk about, from misunderstandings and rumors to 'Why didn't you go to the military?' I hope this becomes a time when we can support each other."
Meanwhile, after debuting in 1997 Yoo Seung-joon was loved for many hit songs including 'Scissors,' 'Passion,' and 'Nana,' but ahead of enlistment in 2002 he acquired U.S. citizenship and was banned from entering the country amid controversy over avoiding military service.
Yoo Seung-joon applied for an overseas Korean resident visa (F-4) but was not granted it, and although he won an administrative lawsuit afterward, the visa issuance continues to be denied.
