'Unpredictable' Kim Sook faced the risk of suspension when an unidentified relic was discovered.
On the 1st, tvN 'Unpredictable' released a preview for episode 9.
In the video, while planting a tree in the yard, Jeon Hye-jin said "wait, wait" and discovered something, creating tension. Song Eun I said, "This looks like a relic from the war. But if a relic is found here, construction will be halted."
Kim Sook said, "My house can never be sold again. Because of the excavation, the (construction) was delayed by three months." Shortly after, an official said, "What is that in your hand? You have to report it to the Korea Heritage Service," and it was ultimately judged that no further work could be done, so the project was halted.
Kim Sook even went to the World Heritage Directorate to verify authenticity. But an official said, "There is a concern that construction will be halted," drawing attention to what will happen to Kim Sook's Ssuk House.
Meanwhile, the 230-pyeong Jeju Seongeup Village house owned by Kim Sook, which had been left unattended for 10 years, was revealed on Unpredictable and drew public interest. At the time, the house was within an area designated as national heritage, so remodeling required permission for alteration from the Korea Heritage Service, and the renovation was carried out carefully while adhering to several requirements such as preserving the original Jeju basalt stone walls and thatched roof.
Then recently, it was reported that restrictions on construction were relaxed after the Korea Heritage Service announced the removal of cultural heritage designation, and Kim Sook, who had already completed remodeling, could not hide her disappointment.
